Trails of Vietnam cycling tour (15days- 14 nights)

Day 1:  Arrive Ha Noi
Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and be free to explore the town.
Our Customer Care Executive will meet you at the hotel at 18 00 pm for a trip briefing, answering your questions, as well as giving you some traveling tips in Vietnam.  We then head out for some local delicacies at a fine dining  Restaurant. (D)

Day 2:  Ha Noi – Ha Long
After four-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City, we arrive  Halong City, check in and have a fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay. We visit Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave, go around Tuan Chau island, Sung Sot cave or swim at lovely beaches then enjoy 4-course dinner and overnight on Junk. (B, L, D)

 Day 3:  Ha Long – Ha Noi – Night train to Hue
Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day, we junk boat once again sets sail through breathtaking secluded Halong bay and enjoy breakfast while cruising. Baitu long Bay , Teapot island , Chopsticks island, Baitho mountain are our stop on this day.
Back to Ha Noi in late evening, we board the Reunification Express for our southbound journey to Hue (B, L)

 Day 4:  Arrive Hue – city tour
Arrive Hue in the morning, we are met and transferred to the hotel.After breakfast at hotel, we are introduced to our support crew and our bicycles. We will warm up and take a short ride to visit Hue Imperial City, Forbidden Purple City. In the afternoon, we cycle to Tu Duc Tomb and boat trip to  Thien Mu pagoda in late afternoon (B, L)

 Day 5:  Hue – Hoi An
We drive out of the city then start cycling along the Highway No 1 to Lang Co beach then top of the Hai Van Pass, admiring the wonderful views as we ride to Danang.  Going to Hoi An by bus, We enjoy an orientation walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Assembly Hall, the 200 year old Tam Ky House, and the Japanese covered bridge. You may also want to join one of the many cooking classes available to learn how to prepare authentic Vietnamese cuisine. (B, L)

 Day 6:  Hoi An
Full day leisure at Cua Dai beach, the perfect place to spend the day.
We also have a half day option to follow your tour leader for a ride along the paths and lanes to smaller villages near the town. (B)
  
Day 7:  Hoi An – Kontum
Today is a more challenging day as we leave Highway 1 and riding towards Kon Tum. We will cycle only part of the day, along undulating roads with stunning photographic opportunities. We will ride past many remote villages, tropical forests, over bridges and along quiet but scenic roads. (B)

Day 8:  Kontum – Pleiku
We leave Kon Tum by bus to get out into the countryside and start another spectacular day of cycling. Today we have gentle rolling hills all day making the cycling easy and observe the simple daily life of local people as we pass numerous small villages and rubber plantations. Arrive Pleiku mid-afternoon, we are free for personal exploration and relaxation. (B, L, D)

Day 9:  Pleiku – Buon Me Thuot
Our ride today is on an excellent road. We pass by coffee plantations and national parks on our way to the largest coffee city in the Central Highlands, and the capital of DakLak Province. Overnight Buon Me Thuot. (B, L, D)

 Day 10:  Buon Me Thuot – Dalat
Start our cycling on fine roads with little traffic, the road is narrow but the view of vast coffee and rubber plantations, will take your breath away.Slowly climb up to Dalat, a mountain-top town, long favored, we leave the warmer temperature behind as we pedal into the cooler climates of Dalat. Day 11:  Dalat tour
Today there is a cycle tour round Dalat to visit Botanical Park, Old french Railway Station and Chinese Pagoda. the high- light of tour will be the Bao Dai’s Summer Palace is a good place to learn more of Vietnam history.
Crazy House, 1 km from the Palace, is an architecture that cannot be explained nor described. We then cycle into the countryside for a bit of local life. (B, L)

Day 12:  Dalat – Mui Ne
Cycle from Hotel to challenging the very straight down hill in the well-known Pren water fall in Dalat, we can stop at chicken village of K’ Ho ethnic minority then get in the bus for a drive to Ta In town and then Luong Son town. Cycling to hotel in coastal route is offers a wonderful ocean views with a climb up some quiet roads through rolling hills and remote minority villages. Continue cycling to Mui Ne and arrive at mid-afternoon,we say goodbye to our support crew and bicycles and stay overnight at Mui Ne beach. (B, L)

Day 13:  Mui Ne
Mui Ne is a palm – shaded bay boasting a booming hub of beach resorts in Viet Nam. Full day free at leisure in the resort or on the beach,  option to cycling to local fishing village. (B)

Day 14:  Mui Ne – SaiGon
Cycling along the beach on the country road before we take a drive to Ho Chi Minh city  (B, L)

 Day 15:  Sai Gon 
Trip ends in Ho Chi Minh city, you can leave on this day or take extension tours with us.(B
